Located in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, the Ambulatory One-Day Surgery Hospital is a specialized medical facility designed to provide efficient surgical and emergency care. Developed in 2012 in collaboration with Abnia Consulting Engineers, the hospital spans approximately 35,000 m², offering a streamlined environment for outpatient procedures and urgent medical services.





A defining architectural feature of the hospital is its full-height central dome at the entrance, which enhances visibility and serves as a focal point for intuitive wayfinding. This thoughtful design element ensures ease of navigation for both patients and visitors while establishing a welcoming and distinctive identity for the facility.

The hospital’s layout is designed for optimal functionality, with all medical services distributed horizontally across the site to enhance accessibility and operational efficiency. Expansive outdoor landscapes contribute to a calming atmosphere, while natural light is carefully integrated into interior spaces where possible, creating a soothing environment that supports patient recovery and overall well-being.
